Additionally, you may choose to experience this picture-perfect view from the dining area, or as you relax and unwind on the outdoor patio furniture after a long day of hiking. Take advantage of the short nature trail where you can view the dark starry nights.
This vacation home rental is approximately 1500 square feet. Built in 1950, it is designed as a mid-century home typical of that time… warm style and colors with concrete flooring (great for a desert lifestyle). Entrance is through the living room with a large open floor plan over-looking the kitchen with a separate dining room and laundry room. The dining room opens to the back patio with breathtaking scenic views of the Mohave Desert and mountains. The living room in midcentury modern tones and furniture includes a 55-inch flat screen TV. A small hallway leads to a huge ensuite master bedroom with king bed and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, flat screen TV and spacious closets with access to a huge guest bathroom in the hallway. The laundry room includes a washer and dryer, plus a 1/2 bath.
Pricing starts at $360 for two occupants for 2 nights in summer. Prices differ according to season, length of stay and number of occupants. Children under 6 stay free. Children between the ages of 6-12 will incur extra $12.00 per child for additional cleaning needs.
All the rooms have heating and cooling. An added feature of this property is a nature trail to explore at your leisure. The property embraces the aesthetics of the desert providing incredible sunrises and stargazing opportunities alike. With 360 views of natural desert landscape, you can also view wildlife from the property. It can accommodate a total of 5 guests (a king bed in the master (accommodates 2), two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom (accommodates 2), plus a sofa bed in the living area (accommodates 1). Additionally, we are minutes away from the Oasis of Mara, the 29 Palms Art Gallery, 29 Palms Old Schoolhouse Museum, and Sky’s the Limit Observatory. You can explore the surrounding desert regions from this convenient location.
On a final note, we appreciate our neighbors, and respect their peace and privacy. Hence, this home is not suited for large groups to have parties or any function that would disturb the peace of the neighboring community.
